The whole meaning of our lives is the face of Jesus Christ, which is our Standard. Jesus Christ is the image of God and we have been created in the image of the image of God which is the Lord. So the whole point of life is to follow everything,what Jesus Christ told us, His Apostles and all the saints who were enlightened by the Holy Spirit. This is the guide of our lives.

Our purpose is to be united with Christ, to dwell in our hearts, to become "one" with Him, to become Christians too, Christoid, to become in His image (Christ is the image of God) and to be like Christ, which is our Original, copy, in the image of Whom we have been created, then we arrive at Theosis.

Joy, Happiness in our lives comes only when we have Christ in uss, never before, because we have created a copy of Him. Our soul is looking for its Original, because the Source of life, of love, of all is the Lord.

Theosis, holiness is to imitate Christ, to live like That. Deification occurs when we see God and live in God. When we look like God, we behave like He. We reach God, we are like God, purified from sin by passions and then through enlightenment we reach Deification:

So the first move towards Deification is humility. We are humbled when we realize our insignificance, our non-existence without God being the Source of life. When we know that we are nothing without Jesus Christ, when we constantly focus our mind on the Lord, which is the center of our lives, is our Creator, is our Standard, They are everything.

The second move is repentance. It is to change our mind, to take it from the built and earthly, and turn him to God. Stop focusing on ourselves and focus on our neighbor and love him as ourselves.

The third move is to fully follow the Lord's commands. When we escape from the earthly, from our passions and we focus on Christ then we apply His commands. Christ is hidden in His commands, by following His commandments we are filled with the Grace of God, we meet Christ, we sanctify. The Mysteries help us to obtain the divine Grace of God within us.

Prayer "Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on the sinner" it helps us begin to taste divine Grace, to receive happiness, to have the experience of Christ within us.

We need to realize that we need not be concerned with ourselves, what image we have of ourselves. Let us completely erase this image and have Christ as our model and let us only be interested in our relationship with Him.. Our goal is to follow the word of the Lord, the observance of which leads us to union with Him.

The sadness we feel, it's because we can't do what our "I" wants. Because we fail to serve our "I" well, which is our false self. Our soul feels sad, when removed from its Source, the Triune God.

Sadness is the complete absence of God within us.

We don't need to be sad, to be disappointed, when things don't go well for us. We must learn to hope in the Lord, to grieve only when we do not follow His word. Then the humiliation that this sorrow brings us, it brings hope and joy directly into us. When we criticize ourselves, means we have a high "I".

Deleting our "I" and connecting with the Creator is the solution to all our problems. We are renewing ourselves, when we repent, when we turn off, we are freed from all the beliefs we have about ourselves and follow the word of the Lord. That's what I do, I stop following my plans, those that serve my "I", the idea I have for myself. Then I am free, I cease to be special and unite with the Whole. Then I stop being afraid, I am left to God, to the Lord and I proceed without stopping with anything.

Keeping the Lord's commandments and participating in His Mysteries initiates us into lovethe, that is, it makes us understand the "unity of everything" and feel safe. God created us to dwell in us, He created us to glorify Him, as the angels glorify Him. Unfortunately, we did not agree with God's will. We did not agree to think only of God. We did not agree with all our actions and deeds to belong to and glorify God, Saint Nicodemus tells us.

We were created to glorify God, to focus on God but we misuse our free will. We, on the contrary, we turn to buildings and the satisfaction of our "I", of our earthly flesh and then we suffer. Our soul is satisfied only when we are focused on God.

Everything we do without prayer and hope in God is a sin. If we are obsessed with pride, it is certain that we fail, Saint Gregory Palamas tells us. Our goal, so it is, to work without any trust, without faith in ourselves. But with full hope and trust in God. We need to realize that the divine Grace of God gives us everything. But when the Grace of God is withdrawn, we are not worthy of anything.

Eventually most people lose Theosis, because we do not repent as much as we need to.
